KELTRON COMPONENT COMPLEX LTD (KCCL) was established on 8th October 1974 in technical collaboration with M/s.Sprague Electromag, Belgium for the manufacture of Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors. KCCL went into commercial production on 19th August 1978. Since then KCCL has grown and now is the biggest manufacturer of Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors in India. Presently the installed annual capacity is 350 Million Pcs. It also produces other passive Electronic Components including MPP Capacitors, Resistors and Crystals. Keltron’s Motor Run Capacitors are BIS Certified and produced with ISI Mark.

Company’s production capacities were enhanced during 1985-90 to enhance the capacity to 150 Million Capacitors per annum. During the year 2009-10, the three sister concerns of KELTRON, viz. Keltron Crystals Ltd, Keltron Resistors Ltd and Keltron Magnetics Ltd were merged into KCCL and is working as a single entity manufacturing Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors, Metallised Polypropylene Capacitors, Carbon & Metal Film Resistors and Piezo-electric Quartz Crystals.

KCCL has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities with more than 300 automatic and semi-automatic machines, imported from Japan, Taiwan, Italy, etc. We also have an in-house developed Forming Plant for Low Voltage and High Voltage Foils. It has a build-up area of more than 11,000 sq. meters for machines alone, spread over a land area of approx. 14+ acres, with a skilled workforce of more than 600 persons having an average of 10+ years' experience.

KCCL’s R&D named “Electronics Research & Development Centre [ER&DC]” is a DSIR-recognized R&D lab with many innovative and recognized achievements. The R&D won “ELCINA Award 1993 for excellence in Research & Development” for the work done in the field of forming technology.

KCCL is ISO 9001 certified (ISO 9001:2015). Company's MPP Capacitors are BIS certified [Produced with ISI Mark]. Company's products are ROHS Certified and CE Certified. The products are approved by C-DOT, CACT, LCSO, and Defence Dept, UL, etc. It has many awards and recognitions in hand including “National Productivity Award 1988-89” under large-scale electronic components units from National Productivity Council, Govt. of India.

KELTRON Capacitors are widely accepted by major equipment manufacturers and Consumer Electronic Industries including BEL, ITI, Crompton Greaves, V-Guard, Tata Motors, L&T, EXIDE, Onida, Railways, Water Authority, Electricity Board, etc. Keltron marketing divisions are spread over the country including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Trivandrum, etc.

Mr.K.G.Krishnakumar is functioning as the Managing Director of "Keltron Component Complex Ltd" since October 2016.

Sri. N. Narayanamoorthy

Chairman

He is a graduate in Electronics and Communications Engineering (in 1971) and joined Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in 1971. His area of specialization is Avionics System Integration and Testing. He was responsible for mission planning and execution of PSLV launches and also functioned as Project Director, GSLV Mk-III. He was a member of Mission Readiness Review Board for ISRO Launch Vehicle missions.

He was the chairman of Aeronautical Society of India-Trivandrum Branch for the period 2005-06 and 2006-07. He is a Fellow of Aeronautical Society of India and System Society of India. Considering his excellent Contribution towards System Design and Electrical Integration of India’s Satellite Launch Vehicle Programme, he was awarded the Space Gold Medal 2000 by Astronautical Society of India. Aeronautical Society of India awarded Dr.Biren Roy Space Science and /or Design Award for the year 2005 for his contribution towards development of Satellite Launch Vehicles. He is the recipient of ISRO Performance Merit Award for the year 2006 and ISRO Performance Excellence Award for the year 2011.

During his tenure at VSSC he has served the role of Professional Director in the Board of Directors of KSEDC from 15-02-2012 to 01-09-2016. Being a technocrat with the vast experience working in Central Government Institution, association with various technical bodies and research organizations he is focusing to improve the manufacturing content, technology adoption and Research and Development area of the KSEDC as he always believes that the strength of company lies in the adoption of technology, strengthening R & D effort and also ensuring HR activities. Shri. N. Narayana Moorthy joined the Board of Directors as a whole-Time Chairman with effect from 1st March 2019.

Managing Director

Mr. K.G.Krishna Kumar is functioning as the Managing Director of "Keltron Component Complex Ltd" since October 2016. He holds an MTech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur with B.E. in Electronics & Communications Engineering.

He started his career as an Engineer in Keltron, Defence Projects Division, in January 1985. He was posted at the key R&D department named ER&DC. He was one among the 10 member team sent to UK (Brown Brother’s & Co Ltd., Edinburgh, UK) in 1990, by Keltron for the technology transfer of Indian Navy's project "Ship Steering Gear & Stabilization Control System". He was a key resource in many of the projects for Indian Navy (NPOL-Ship Control Units, Torpedo Decoy Systems etc.) & Airforce (HAL-Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Flight Simulator, MI-8 & MI-17 Helicopter Training Simulators etc.). After more than 20 years service for Defence Electronics Projects, he resigned his job as Joint Director of “Centre for Development of Advanced Computing” (CDAC, Govt. of India), to join an American company (MNC) in New Jersey as "Director - Technology and Business Development". He has over 4 years experience in IBM Mainframe migration in USA and migrated over 600 mainframe applications for major clients including Vestcom, Bowne, CGI and RR Donnelley. He was a known technology consultant to many companies in Mainframe technologies, and Software/Embedded Systems. Recognised as a Data (Cyber) Security Auditor, and audited key data centres such as RBI (Reserve Bank of India, central data centre-Bombay) and SIB (Sharjah Islamic Bank, central data centre - Sharjah, UAE). In between he also served as SEMT Head for 2 years, with MeitY, Govt. of India. He has over 4 years of international business development experience. During the last 8 years, while he was the MD, the company made drastic improvements in performance, and implemented many developmental initiatives. This is his second term as the Managing Director of Keltron Component Complex Ltd.
