KELTRON’S SUPERCAPACITOR PRODUCTION FACILITY

INFRASTRUCTURE

0.5% RH – CLEAN CLASS 10000 DRY ROOM

Processes for the Supercapacitor production are highly moisture and foreign particle sensitive. The overall moisture trapped inside the capacitor should be less than 1ppm for the proper working of the Supercapacitor. Hence the production machineries are housed in a 0.5% RH - clean class 10000 dry room setup at an investment of Rs. 3.5 crores.

The air inside this Dry Room is maintained at very low relative humidity level (less than 0.5%RH at 20 to 25°C) and dust particles are filtered. This is accomplished with sophisticated desiccators, condensers and air filters kept outside the Dry Room. To reduce the air leakage and pollution during the entry and exit of working personals, the Dry Room is equipped with Ante chamber and Air Shower compartment. A special type of material exchange Air Lock port is also provided for the exchange of raw material and processed capacitors between the Dry Room and external room. To maximize the performance and to minimize the running power consumption the Dry Room walls are constructed with sandwiched SS304 PUF panels.

Utility Room is a separate dedicated location in the building for incorporating various service equipment and Dry Room condition maintaining equipment for the Supercapacitor plant operation. These includes High Power DB, Compressors, Dehumidifiers, Desiccators, Air Filters, Chillers, Heat Exchanging units and several electronic auxiliary process control units.
